High school students who are on track to qualify for automatic admission to UC Merced and their families were invited to a special engagement on campus. The event took place in the Dr. Vikram and Priya Lakireddy Grand Ballroom and included dinner as well as a program featuring remarks from Director of Admissions Dustin Noji, Executive Director of Leadership, Service and Career Brian O'Bruba and Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Gregg Camfield. A panel of current UC Merced students also took turns sharing their experience as Bobcats and answered questions.
Students in attendance are enrolled in the Merced Automatic Admissions Program, or MAAP, which is a partnership with high schools designed to increase the number of Central Valley students at UC Merced. To cap off the event, families were provided a tour of the campus. (Click photo to scroll)
