Chancellor Muñoz joined federal, state and local leaders for a press conference, tour and roundtable discussion about landmark grants awarded including $65.1 million to the Fresno-Merced Future of Food Innovation (F3) coalition of which UC Merced is a partner. Among the attendees were Assistant Secretary of Commerce Alejandra Castillo, Senator Alex Padilla, Senator Anna Caballero, Congressman Jim Costa, Assemblyman Joaquin Arambula, Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer and other distinguished guests.
