Share Your Input: Interim Policy Covering Assembly, Protests and Postings

February 7, 2018

On Jan. 9, 2018, the university posted the Interim Policy on Expressive Activities and Assembly: Protests, Demonstrations, Non-University Speakers and Posting on Campus and in University Facilities for review and comment. The interim policy pulls together in one place existing University policies and procedures and fills gaps on an interim basis.

The interim policy, effective Jan. 9, 2018, applies to all university employees including faculty, staff, students and non-affiliates. Individuals who wish to provide comments may submit them to the Office of Campus Climate and Compliance by April 30, 2018, by emailing policy@ucmerced.edu.

Questions or comments about University policies and procedures may be directed to Sheryl Ireland or Jody Gonzalez in the Ethics and Compliance office.
