The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) is encouraging union members throughout the UC system to join its strike early next week, May 7-9. Demonstrations related to the strike could potentially lead to increased traffic, difficulty accessing campus, or impacts to some campus services.
Faculty and students traveling to campus for final exams are encouraged to arrive early Monday through Wednesday. To help alleviate traffic, Transportation and Parking Services encourages everyone to consider taking CatTracks , carpooling or using other alternative methods of transportation.
Additional information will be communicated to the campus community as needed.
